Since we are surfboard lovers and have a lot of different boards for all types of surfers and waves, we like to dive into one single surfboard every week. Welcome to our series called ''Board of the Week''. Every Monday we'll start the week fresh and provide you with all the details, fun facts and inside information of a chosen surfboard.

Meet: 'The Medina'
Brand: Cabianca Surfboards
Shaper: Johhny Cabianca
Model: The Medina 5’10” Swallow Tail
The Medina is Gabriel’s secret weapon for winning decisive heats in marginal conditions. Both the 2013 Junior World title and the 2014 Quik Pro Gold Coast were conquered by Medina with this board.
Low rocker from nose to tail, a combination of concave to V bottom, and a flatter dome deck makes this board stable, yet very lively and responsive. Check out the pictures yourself
